Joseph Villamar
Joseph Asuncion Villamar (born-July 12, 1968 in Calaca, Batangas)
Joseph Villamar has a Fine Arts degree major in Advertising from Feati University. His previous works include as a comics illustrator in 1993, as a caricaturist and portraitist in1996, as a workshop facilitator in 1999 and as a part-time instructor in 2004 at Philippine Women's University College of Fine Arts and in 2005 up to 2017 at Feati School of Fine Arts. His works are collected by private collectors here and abroad. He has been a member of The Saturday Group of Artists, a premier art group in the Philippines since 2005 up to present. His works graced the pages of locally published artbooks authored by Manuel Duldulaoand Chuckie Arellano.His painting subjects dwell on mother and child and they were exhibited both locally and internationally. His works can be accessed through Art Circle Gallery outletsand the Saturday Group Gallery.
