Artist’s Statement:
I am a realist in a sea of abstract, impressionist and expressionist painters. Even though my style is fast dying out, I hold on to my conviction that I can make my still life project an emotion and expression that others only achieve through the use of colors, and illustrations of hands, faces, eyes and the like. My style in painting depicts my unparalleled passion, sincerity and unwavering belief that the art of painting is meant to capture the essence of the subject as well as project a part of oneself in each artwork. To know my painting is to know me, in the same way that to know our Creator is to know His creation. For I am inimitably a creation of our One True God, and I dare say that my creations are likewise inimitable in their message and emotion for my gift of art was created to glorify Him.
As I go on through life, my varied interests and sincere faith move me to transition from traditional realism to modern and contemporary realism. I and my art are evolving into bigger and better things. The best is yet to come!
